Some people make a lot of dough in China …

… Others simply fry a lot of dough.
The ubiquitous fried bread sticks — part of a hearty breakfast on-the-go for the masses — are less tasty than I’d originally thought they’d be, but I guess that’s why you see so many people dip them in their soy milk before munching. Often, breakfast is fried bread, soy milk, and a hard-boiled egg.
