Youth is wasted on the young

Back in the good old days, melons didn’t waste their lives hanging out on the corner or on the front stoop. They worked hard and made something of themselves, be it soups, stir fries, or even hearty stews. They were productive members of society.

    I had never questioned why melons were singled out as dumb i.e. 傻瓜, Now, this photo image, I am pretty sure, is going to appear in my mind next time I hear that phrase !
