You got that right

Some clever street artist added the “S” and the “B” for heartfelt commentary on the character circled in the center.

That character is the “chai”(拆), which means “demolish.” It’s the character written or painted on structures, too often those rare gems disappearing from the hutongs, that have been condemned to the wrecking ball.
