I’m sure Starbucks didn’t notice that a local Macau coffee house sits below the billboard.
Is this a boon to their business? Walk in as a tourist expecting familiar and walk out satisfied with an authentic Macanese experience?
To answer your first question directly, I don’t know. But it’s a great observation. Whether or not people mistakenly think they are walking into a Starbucks, the billboard definitely draws eyes to the coffee house below.
